The Ventura range of whistles has a larger air hole than our other whistles and a slot size & shape tailored to the metal. Use this whistle to achieve more volume with less effort and to have better control of tones - from soft deep tones to our trademark loud sharp, crisp commands that a dog can distinguish easily between.  

Precision crafted from certified lead-free brass - the surface of which is antimicrobial & so able to kill a wide range of harmful microbes with a high degree of efficiency.

After studying the characteristics of the different whistle designs, I went for the Logan Ventura Brass Whistle as a suitable all-rounder. As it was a present for myself, I ordered the one with the English scroll design and a black slimline leather lanyard. The whistle is beautiful and once you master the technique of blowing the whistle you can even get a good tune out of it. (Our dog is very responsive too!)

Sadly, I can’t tolerate the brass in my mouth. It leaves me with an unpleasant taste and a sore throat. However, my wife does not have the same problem and is now the new and very satisfied owner of the whistle.

I contacted Joanne about the problem and she was very helpful and I now have a Delrin whistle and lanyard. The service from “Logan Whistles/the border collie” has been second to none and I would thoroughly recommend the company.

Decorated Logan Ventura Brass Whistle

Since two years, I bought several whistles, but no ones comes to the Ventura Brass - even those with two holes. The sound reaches my dogs in all conditions perfectly, all the dogs like it and answer well to, and very easy to use. My favorite, can't wait for a Ventura Turbo.
