Logan Whistles are proud to sponsor the Team Prizes at the World Sheep Dog Trials taking place between 13-16 September at the Gill Hall Estate in County Down, Northern Ireland.
This is the first time the World Trial will be hosted by Northern Ireland and just a few miles from Shanaghan Farm, the very first 'home' of Logan Whistles.
We are honoured to have been commissioned to create a commemorative whistle for each of the 230 competitors at the Sheep Dog Trial. It's a real achievement for those competitors to have been selected for one of the teams; some travelling great distances with their dogs to compete. Countries represented include
Argentina; Austria; Belgium; Brazil; Canada; Czech Republic; Denmark; England; Faroes, Finland; France; Germany; Hungary; Iceland; Ireland; Israel; Italy; Netherlands; Norway; Poland; Portugal; Scotland; South Africa; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland; Uruguay; USA; Wales and Zimbabwe.
Specially engraved Logan Whistles will also be gifted to each of the finalists in the main and young handler competitions and a limited edition of engraved Logan Whistles available to visitors as a reminder of this great event.
As well as the singles competition, there will be a young handlers event.
Over 50,000 spectators are expected to attend the event and enjoy the spectacle.
Live streaming of the World Trial will also be available - an opportunity to watch how the handlers and their dogs work together and the important role whistle commands play in herding the sheep calmly. Details here https://www.worldsheepdogtrials.org/
